Do you need an account?
No. Every calculator and tool works without one, and what you make stays in this browser. An account is for the monthly Pro subscription and, if you switch it on, for having your work on all your devices.
What is uploaded, and when
- What goes up, only with sync switched on: projects, budgets, survey sheets, job reports, checklists, price lists and the rest of the documents, with their photos and files; your library and your company details; the saved jobs and stock of the cutting optimisers, the offcut rack and saved glass schedules; Purchases and Family.
- When: a few seconds after you save, and every little while with a page of the site open. Without a connection it waits and goes up when the connection is back.
- Never: what you type in the calculators while you use them, your answer to the cookie notice, your preferences, or the Pro mark of this browser (the account knows your Pro).
- Who can read it: it travels encrypted (HTTPS) and is stored on our server as it is, where the server can read it: it is not end-to-end encryption. Photos go up as they were taken, with their location if they have one.
