What a project file is
Export turns a project into one .sfproj file: a ZIP with the project's data and its photos as they were taken. Open it here, on this or any other device, with Import a project file. Location data is removed from the photos unless you choose to keep it, and every file is checked before anything is imported: a damaged or foreign file is refused, and if an import fails halfway nothing is changed.
Where it is kept
In this browser's own storage on this device, not on a server. That is what keeps it private, and it is also why it is not a backup: clearing the browser's data, or a private window, removes it. Export a project you care about.
