Documents ยท Survey sheet
Measure on site, order the glass right
One card per window: three widths, three heights and both diagonals, and the sheet works out the hole (the smallest wins), the glass size with your own deduction per side, and what is out of square. Photos carry arrows and dimensions in red; an A4 sheet in a photo gives an estimate for the budget. Out come the survey sheet, the glass order list and the visit report, on paper. Kept in this browser: nothing is uploaded.
Your company on the documents
Shown on every document you make here, and on the specification sheet and the schedule report: one set of details for all of them. Saved in this browser.

The method on the sheet
It is the one in our guide on measuring an opening for glass: measure between the rebates, not the old pane; three widths and three heights, and the smallest of each is the one that counts, with all six kept; both diagonals, because an opening out of square by more than a few millimetres has to be said on the order, and past about 10 mm it should be templated. The glass is the hole minus the deduction on each side of your profile system. None is assumed: you type yours.
Measured, nominal, estimated, pending
Every reference says where its measures came from. Only measures taken on site or given (nominal) go on the glass order list. A measure taken from a photo with an A4 sheet is marked as estimated: it is good for a budget and stays off the order list until it is measured with a tape.
Photos, and where they stay
Photos are kept in this browser as they were taken; the red pencil draws over them without changing the file. The camera's date is shown as what the camera says, not as proof of when the photo was taken. Location data is removed from photos when a project is exported.
What is free
Sheets of up to 10 references and 10 photos, printed or saved as PDF, the glass order list, and sending the glass to a budget, the cutting optimiser or the schedule checker. Pro lifts both limits and removes the small "Prepared with SyntaxFlow" line.
