From a message to what needs doing, when and who is on it

Turn a message or document from school, a club or a group chat into events, tasks and things to prepare. You review every date before it is saved.

  • In this browser
  • No account
  • Free

Paste the message

The text goes to the planner in this same tab and never leaves your browser. Is it a PDF or a photo? Upload it to the planner.

Example with made-up details

How a message is pulled apart

The message

The school trip will be on 22 May 2027. Please return the permission slip before the 18th. We leave at 08:30. Bring water and a hat.

What is proposed for review

  • EventSchool tripSaturday 22 May 2027 · leaving at 08:30“The school trip will be on 22 May 2027” · “We leave at 08:30”
  • Document to prepareReturn the permission slipDeadline: 18 May 2027, no time (month and year from the same message)“Before the 18th”: does it include the 18th? You decide“Please return the permission slip before the 18th”
  • What to bringWater · hatGoes on the trip's list once you confirm the event“Bring water and a hat”
  • Status: To confirm: the time zone (this device's is proposed). The year, 2027, is written in the message
  • Status: Who takes care of it: nobody yet

Example with made-up details. Nothing goes into the planner until you approve each proposal.

How it works

  1. Paste a message or upload a document. You can also start with the example.
  2. Review the proposals: events, tasks, deadlines and things to bring, each with its source.
  3. Settle the doubts: a date with no year, “on Friday” or “03/04” is asked, not guessed.
  4. Approve what is right and choose who is on each task.
  5. See today and this week, and print the week if that helps.
  6. When a change comes, paste it: you are offered an update to the existing event, never a duplicate.

What you take away

  • The event with its date and time, kept apart from the preparations.
  • Tasks with their deadline, with no invented times.
  • The list of things to bring or prepare.
  • Doubts in view: year, time zone, whether “before the 18th” includes the 18th.
  • Every proposal linked to the text it comes from, and nothing goes into the planner until you approve it.

What it does not do

  • It does not read your email, WhatsApp or the school portal: you paste or upload what you choose.
  • It does not invent dates or times, nor accept a doubtful date without asking you.
  • It does not hand every task to whoever pasted the message: you choose who is on it.
  • It is not shared with other adults for now: the planner lives in this browser. You can export to your calendar or print.

Your messages stay in this browser

What you paste or upload, and the planner made from it, is kept in this browser's storage, on this device. Nothing is uploaded to a server and no account is needed.

A nickname is enough for a child: no date of birth, photo or school is needed. It is not a backup: export what matters to you.

Usage figures count actions, such as “event confirmed”, never the text of your messages.

Questions people ask

Do I have to give access to my email or WhatsApp?

No. You copy the text and paste it, or upload the document. Nothing connects to your accounts.

What if the message has no year, or says “on Friday”?

It is marked as a doubtful date and you are asked, with the reading shown. A relative date needs a reliable reference, and the day you paste the message is never used as the message's date without telling you.

Is “03/04” the 3rd of April or the 4th of March?

It could be either, so you are asked. It does not depend on your browser's language.

Can I share it with my partner?

For now the planner lives in this browser. You can export confirmed events to your calendar as an ICS file or print the week; sharing a household with another adult is not available yet.

What happens if the school moves the date?

Paste the new message: an update to the event you already have is proposed, with before and after, and waits for your confirmation. No duplicate is created.

Is it free?

Yes, and with no account.

Try it with a real message

Or with the school-trip example, to see the event, the task and the things to bring pulled apart.
