Documents ยท Checklist

Go through the checks on site, on paper as it will print

Start from a trade template, or your own, and mark each check OK, not applicable or an issue, with a note and a photo with the red pencil. What was not checked prints as an empty box, never as right. The checklist turns into a job report or a visit report without retyping. Kept in this browser: nothing is uploaded.

Your company on the documents

Shown on every document you make here, and on the specification sheet and the schedule report: one set of details for all of them. Saved in this browser.

The trade templates

Glass installation, window installation, shower screen installation, joinery site visit, handover of works and delivery received. Each item is a fact to confirm on site, in plain words. They are good practice, not a standard: no regulation is quoted, and where the right answer depends on a product the item says to follow the manufacturer rather than giving a figure. Every item can be changed, removed or added to with Edit the items.

OK, N/A or issue

Each check is marked OK, not applicable, or an issue. An issue asks for a note saying what is wrong, and can carry photos with arrows and dimensions drawn in red; the paper lists the issues together after the checks. An item nobody marked is printed as an empty box and counted apart: it is never shown as right.

Into a job report or a visit report

From More, a checklist becomes a job report (date, client, site, who checked, the photos with their item as caption, and the issues and unchecked items as pending) or a visit report in the survey sheet. Nothing is invented on the way: the job report comes without hours, for you to add.

Issued means frozen

While it is a draft, the checklist saves itself as you go. Once issued it cannot be changed; a change becomes a new revision, and each revision can be compared with the one before, item by item.

What is free

Every trade template, with no limit on items or photos, printed or saved as PDF, and turning a checklist into a job report or a visit report (the visit report keeps its own free limit of 10 photos). The free version prints a small "Prepared with SyntaxFlow" line at the foot; Pro removes it and adds your own templates, with your sections and your words, and packs per project: several templates applied to a project at once, with the state of each checklist and one summary of the issues of all of them, printable.
