Subject: Order EJ-20417 · Ask about a refund
Hello,
I am writing about order EJ-20417, placed on 3 February 2027, for €89.90.
According to your message, you received the return on 16 February 2027.
To date I have no record of the refund of €89.90.
Could you tell me whether the refund has been issued, on what date and for what amount?
I look forward to your reply. Thank you.
Example with made-up details. Every fact stays “extracted, pending review” until you confirm it, and the draft uses confirmed facts only.
What you take away
- A timeline from the purchase to the return, each step with its source.
- The refund's real state: pending, reported by the shop or confirmed by you.
- The list of what is missing and the next action with its date.
- A draft asking for confirmation, ready to copy, download or print.
- An export of the case to keep it outside the browser.
What it does not do
- It does not know whether the shop has broken any rule, nor hint at it in the draft.
- It does not compute the legal refund deadline: that depends on the country and the case. It helps you organise the case, not compute that deadline reliably.
- It does not look at your bank: a refund counts as received only when you confirm it.
- A promised refund never turns into a refund made.
Your data stays in this browser
The case, its documents and the drafts are kept in this browser's storage, on this device. Nothing is uploaded to a server and no account is needed.
It is not a backup: if the browser's data is cleared, or this is a private window, it goes. Export the case to keep a copy elsewhere, and delete it whenever you want.
Usage figures count actions, such as “case created”, never what you type or upload.
Questions people ask
How long does the shop have to refund me?
It depends on the country, the kind of purchase and whether it is a cancellation or a guarantee claim. We can help you organise the case, but not compute the applicable deadline reliably: see the public resources on this page.
The shop says it has refunded me, but I cannot see it
Record it as “refund stated by the shop”. It stays pending until you see it and confirm it, and you can draft a message asking for the date and the amount of the refund.
Only part was refunded
It is recorded as a partial refund, with what came back in its currency; if you enter the amount you claim, what is still pending too. Amounts in different currencies are never added together or compared.
I did not keep the shipping receipt
The case marks the date the return was sent as missing. You can type it yourself: it is kept as a detail entered by you, shown apart from what a document confirms.
