How a message is pulled apart
The message
The school trip will be on 22 May 2027. Please return the permission slip before the 18th. We leave at 08:30. Bring water and a hat.

Example with made-up details. Nothing goes into the planner until you approve each proposal.
What you take away
- The event with its date and time, kept apart from the preparations.
- Tasks with their deadline, with no invented times.
- The list of things to bring or prepare.
- Doubts in view: year, time zone, whether “before the 18th” includes the 18th.
- Every proposal linked to the text it comes from, and nothing goes into the planner until you approve it.
What it does not do
- It does not connect to WhatsApp, email or the school portal: you copy and paste.
- “Tomorrow” or “on Friday” become a date only with a reliable reference, and the reading is shown to you.
- It does not assign people on its own.
- A notice for information is proposed as a note, with no invented date; if a proposal is wrong, you correct it or discard it before approving.
Your messages stay in this browser
What you paste or upload, and the planner made from it, is kept in this browser's storage, on this device. Nothing is uploaded to a server and no account is needed.
A nickname is enough for a child: no date of birth, photo or school is needed. It is not a backup: export what matters to you.
Usage figures count actions, such as “event confirmed”, never the text of your messages.
Questions people ask
Does it work with WhatsApp messages?
Yes, if you copy the message's text and paste it here. It does not connect to WhatsApp or read your groups.
Does “before the 18th” include the 18th?
It is not always clear, so the task is proposed with that date and the doubt flagged, for you to decide. No deadline time is invented.
Does it tell the event apart from what to prepare?
Yes: the trip is an event; handing in the permission slip is a task with a deadline; the water and the cap are a list of things to bring.
What if the message is about two children?
Each event goes to the profile you choose, under a nickname. Two events with the same title for two different children are never merged.
