The family's week: what is on, what to prepare and who is on it

What you take away

  • Today: what is on, what is due, what to prepare and who is on it.
  • The week as a list by day, easy to read on a phone and with a screen reader.
  • What has nobody on it, in view.
  • A printable view and an ICS file with the confirmed events.
  • Changes to review, kept apart from what is confirmed.

What it does not do

  • It is not shared with other adults for now: it lives in this browser.
  • It sends no email reminders. If you want reminders, export to your calendar and let it remind you.
  • Nothing moves by dragging: every change is made with buttons and fields, keyboard included.
  • It scores nobody and does not count who does more.

Your messages stay in this browser

What you paste or upload, and the planner made from it, is kept in this browser's storage, on this device. Nothing is uploaded to a server and no account is needed.

A nickname is enough for a child: no date of birth, photo or school is needed. It is not a backup: export what matters to you.

Usage figures count actions, such as “event confirmed”, never the text of your messages.

Questions people ask

Can I print the week?

Yes, there is a printable view with the week's events and tasks.

Will it remind me of what is due?

Email reminders are not available. You can export confirmed events to your calendar as an ICS file and use its reminders.

Can I share out the tasks?

Yes: you assign each task to a person by name or nickname. The other person receives nothing, because nothing is sent; it is your planner in this browser.

Is it just another calendar?

It does not try to replace yours: it gathers what arrives scattered, keeps the event apart from what to prepare and lets you export it.
